About
Summit Painting specializes in custom residential repainting. We have been in business since 2010 and have been honored to win the Angie’s List Super Service award for outstanding customer service and high quality craftsmanship every year since 2012.
I’m Stuart Riensche, the owner of Summit Painting. I have been painting for 16 years, starting in high school (the summer after my junior year). I quickly learned the trade and worked my way through the industry. I was fortunate to be an apprentice for a couple high quality painters that took the time to teach me while I was starting out. During these years, I had the opportunity to paint residential homes along with commercial buildings. I really enjoyed working directly with the customer and eventually decided to open my own business.
With the core values instilled in me through my parents (my dad is a general contractor), I knew how reputation and quality of work were of utmost importance. I also wanted to do things a little differently: I wanted my customers to learn not just how we do things, but why we do things the way we do. I’ve found it important for the customer to understand why the work we do will last, and why each step is important. We take great pride in our prep work and only use quality caulking, primer, paints and stains, etc.
I also work in the field with my crew as often as possible. During the summer months, my employees number from 4-7. I like to keep the number of employees down, to ensure quality on every job. Throughout the project, either I or my crew leader will be in contact with you directly, to keep you informed on the progress. I am proud to say that we are almost always on schedule (unless mother-nature decides to mix things up). We will not consider a job complete until you are happy.
